God’s Neutral Zone: The GNZ is a public, charitable, 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization with a tax-exempt status from the IRS. We are a team of individuals (see the Directors page for details) and partnerships through MOUs, dedicated to transforming our inner cities through serving those communities and their inhabitants—1 by 1 by 1: For All.
Why We Are Doing This?
At The GNZ, we know our nation faces deep divisions.
We disagree, we struggle, and sometimes, we turn away from those who need support the most.
But even through our differences, we all share one thing: the desire for a better tomorrow.
Many people feel trapped by past mistakes or circumstances beyond their control.
Without the right support, problems grow, challenges multiply, and the path forward becomes unclear.
We don’t believe anyone should be defined by where they’ve been.
Yet—On the One Hand
The task in front of us is enormous, and at times, it feels nearly impossible to overcome. The challenges faced by our inner cities are widespread, deeply rooted, and often overwhelming.
There are countless reasons behind these struggles: a lack of consistent funding, the callous indifference of those who could help but choose not to, the conflicting beliefs and opinions that divide us, and the long history of past failures that still cast a shadow today. The list continues far beyond what can be easily summarized.
Our differences, dislikes, and divisions run extremely deep. Our natural tendency to distrust, distance, or even resent those who are not like us—the “outsiders,” so to speak—becomes a powerful and relentless force.
This mindset often blinds us to compassion, to reason, and to the possibility of loving one another despite our differences.
